When first purchasing a site builder package from HostingPad, you may have stubbled upon the free subdomain option from myhostingpad.ca & .com.
If that's you, and you needed to add a new primary domain to the site. Follow this easy tutorial.
- Log into your Client Area & Click on the product you want to work on. (Example: Site Builder Hosting Plan)
- Click Product Details
- Navigate till you find Log in cPanel
- Find "Domains" in cPanel
- Click "Create a new domain"
- Prompt the domain you registered, ensure the DNS is set properly & that the nameservers are pointed towards ns1.hostingpad.ca & ns2.hostingpad.ca.
- Make sure "Share Document Root" is ENABLED
- If no issues with the DNS are found and it is fully propagated, this will work right away!
If you get an error saying "The domain “xxx” already exists in the userdata." Please submit a ticket.
